- Flow rate and direction measurement
Using the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), based on the principle of ultrasonic echo frequency shift, it accurately measures the water flow velocity (±10 m/s, with an accuracy of 0.5 cm/s) and direction (0° to 360°), supports multi-layer profile analysis, and is suitable for complex ocean current environments.
- Wave parameter observation
Equipped with three-axis acceleration sensor and azimuth attitude sensor, it can calculate wave height (0.2-25m, accuracy ±0.1m + 10%H), wave period (2-30s, error ≤ 0.5s), and wave direction (accuracy ±10°) in real time. Combined with wave theory models, it outputs characteristic value data.
- Meteorological data collection
Integrates temperature and humidity sensors, wind speed and direction sensors (available in three cup type/sound wave type), air pressure sensor and visibility sensor. The visibility sensor adopts the forward scattering principle, with a measurement range of 10 to 20,000 meters, and can identify precipitation types (rain, snow, fog, etc.).
- Water quality expansion capability
Optional multi-parameter water quality monitor can be equipped, supporting simultaneous monitoring of 17 indicators such as dissolved oxygen, conductivity, pH value, and turbidity. It is suitable for marine ecological research and pollution warning.

- Radio communication technology: Utilizes VHF/UHF data transmission radios, supporting high-speed transmission at 19200bps. Combined with custom communication protocols, it enables a stable data link between buoys and shore stations. The protocol includes command frames (for controlling power on/off/reset) and data frames (128 bytes, CRC16 verification) to ensure transmission reliability.
