Product Description

STDR Self-contained hydrophone is a series of universal self-contained underwater acoustic signal acquisition and recording equipment, which can be used to measure various natural and artificial acoustic signals in the ocean. STDR can be used individually or conveniently as a synchronous or asynchronous array. Its self-noise level is extremely low, which can meet the noise measurement requirements in the quiet sea with zero sea state. It is widely used to collect and record various types of acoustic signals, ship radiation noise, marine environmental noise and other underwater acoustic signals, and can be applied to marine acoustic tomography, earthquake and tsunami monitoring, marine biological research and other fields.

Main Features

 It can collect acoustic signals transmitted through the channel, marine environmental noise signals, ship radiation/noise and other underwater acoustic signals;
 It can be preprogrammed intermittently or continuously, and the parameters such as sampling rate, hydrophone gain and storage file length can be set by software.
 With duty, record function;
 Equipped with powerful subsequent data processing and analysis software, it can realize data playback, data monitoring, data interception, power spectrum analysis, 1/3oct average power spectrum analysis, line spectrum analysis, frequency band sound level calculation and other analysis and processing functions, and can automatically output the above analysis results to word files or excel tables.

Operating Mode

STDR self-contained hydrophone runs independently according to the set time schedule, and its working mode is mainly divided into cyclic working mode and continuous working mode. Cyclic work mode refers to how many hours are worked within a week; Continuous working mode refers to continuous collection and storage during the starting and ending periods of work. Different collection modes can be set according to the actual work requirements. The operating parameters of the self-contained hydrophone, including the sampling rate, hydrophone gain, and storage file length, can be set by the parameter setting software.

Installation Instructions

Equipped with special installation accessories (non-standard products, need to be purchased separately), to achieve rapid installation and disassembly of self-contained hydrophones, especially suitable for multiple self-contained hydrophones array use.
STDR series uses ultra-low power MCU and high-precision low power ADC as hardware platform, reasonable management and distribution of power supply, combined with hibernation - wake up mode, to achieve long-term working requirements.

For the design of the pre-amplifier circuit for the middle and low frequency signals, high-precision and ultra-low noise JFET discrete components are used as the first stage amplifier circuit design, and high-precision and low-bias voltage integrated operational amplifier is used as the second stage amplifier to realize the purpose of low-noise and high-gain amplification of weak signals, which can provide a background noise level as low as 2uV. It can be directly used for the measurement of zero level sea state ambient noise in deep sea.

The built-in high-precision synchronous timekeeping module of STDR synchronization series based on rubidium clock/temperature control crystal oscillator uses GPS/BD to tame the synchronous timekeeping module, and realizes the rapid taming function by processing the phase difference Kalman filter and PID algorithm. Punctuality adopts recursive least squares to fit pressure control and temperature, compensate aging and temperature parameters, and achieve high-precision punctuality.
